Water—fill bathtubs and containers with water for washing and flushing. Stock up on bottled water for drinking.

Food—at least enough for 3 to 7 days. Stock up on non-perishable food, juices, and snacks....

Non-electric can opener, cooking tools, paper plates and plastic utensils.

Blankets, pillows, and seasonal clothing

First aid kit and any necessary over-the-counter or prescription medications.
